Starting Out
Raids can be brutal when you are starting out, so planning your team early is a must, there are plenty of forums around that have information you can access and people that will gladly guide you, give advice to help you work out a strong team. Also most Guilds have some kind of chat to organize raiding, bidding on items, ladders, schedules and general discussion/advice and tips & tricks, personally i think this is very important.
If you don't have many strong cards there are things you can do that will help get you through an area of a raid quicker. Look at the first raid 1/6, if you move Thief to where Qriest is, you will focus your attack damage to the bottom left Trash card and destroy it faster, once you take out that card you should survive longer & do more damage. Another thing you can do is raid with other players, this will help when your raiding trash or bosses that smash you.
Focused attacks wipeout card quickly
and help keep your team alive.
As for the Bosses Wunos & Mavors, they both have high Spell Damage & Crit and they can hit hard, if you do find you are struggling to stay alive for 30 rounds, maybe try exchanging Rouge for another Thief to add HP synergy or try using Survival Instinct to help absorb their Crits or add in FDH or a Druid, have a look at what cards you have with MDef, Toughness, HP and Dodge Synergies and give them a go, be creative, do your homework and if you find something that works, "WRITE IT DOWN" so you don't forget. Finally If you keep dying within the first 15 rounds, try changing your Def Skill to an Attacking Skill like Assaulting Scream, you might just squeeze out a bit more damage. GOOD LUCK!!!
Middle To High End
For middle to high end players the best set up for the first three and fifth raid is Raven Squad, you should be able to get to 4/6 with the first attack. Try using
FDH, MT, Blank
BEM, Druid, Shaman.
Challenge yourself and see if you can clear the whole raid with 1 set of 11 runs.
